“Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

Abraham points out how the family of the rich man have the law that can direct them to words of eternal life. But are they aware of it’s teachings? Certainly, the rich man had the same thing yet he never bothered to search for truth. Jesus points this out in the parable but he also makes a point to say that the prophets and the law contain words concerning him in Luke 24 not just once but twice in two different accounts.

Jesus would the same today, “they have the Bible them open it up and read it?” Does the Bible creak when you open it? Do you know the words of eternal life found in it?
