Luke 15:1-12

Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Luke 15:1-12

Everyone gathered to hear Jesus, the teachers of the law and the sinners. Like two magnets that come together with the same polarity pushing each other away. These two are two opposite sides of the spectrum with a commonality; they want to hear Jesus. But one group mutters beneath their voices their disgust of the opposite side, "them." There's always a "them" in our language but to God there is no "them" for all are merely his children.
