Luke 15:11-12

Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.

It’s uncommon for a child to ask for their inheritance before a parent dies. Yet, this young son doesn’t agree with the life his father has set before him, therefore, he makes his own choice to go out and experience the world. In order to do so he tells his father he knows better than his father. What is it that you don’t like of the life God has set before you? Who really knows what’s best for you?
